Fireworks and Bonfires

As it’s Fireworks Night tonight, I’m sharing a piece I did for Best this week about the impact on animals (both domestic and wild) when we shoot explosions up into the sky and light bonfires in which adorable little hedgehogs just might be sleeping.

It was a heartbreaking but interesting feature to research and I hope that it helps raise awareness of what so many animals go through at this time of year. Silent fireworks seem like a logical compromise.
