Cheeky Monkeys - My Weekly

I’m working in collaboration with Unbound on a series of stories about women around the world who are going above and beyond to help the animals they love.
Photographer Jo Anne McArthur travelled the world capturing portraits of these extraordinary women and now I get to write about their compassion and dedication!
Meet Sarah, who rescues and rehabilitates bats in Sydney, Australia. Josie, who rescues vervet monkeys in South Africa and Melissa, who raises awareness about snakes in America. She sets up cameras so she can film their bonding rituals, determined to illustrate that they make not look anything like us, but they, like all animals, share some traits and are worth fighting for.
